University spin-offs

Bukhara State University has founded three companies that strive to develop sustainability within the university and beyond. 

“BukhSU Rainmaker” is a spin-off organisation that aims to deliver language instruction using the most recent innovative methods. The company’s activities are but not limited to:

  • conducting research activities in the field of teaching foreign languages;
  • development of research, innovation, start-up and other projects and submission to various competitions;
  • providing high-quality translation and editing services for monographs and others;
  • Teaching foreign languages to children of families in need of social assistance, and persons with disabilities
  • Conducting research activities on the development of the assessment system;
  • Creating platforms for teaching a foreign language to visually impaired persons and;
  • Quality teaching of foreign languages ​​using modern methods;
  • providing oral and written translation services;
  • providing high-level reception services for foreign guests;
  • providing guide-interpreter services;
  • providing copywriting and other online services;
  • preparing documents for applying to foreign higher education institutions
  • organising seasonal camps for children aimed at teaching foreign languages;
  • Providing various services within the framework of the “Work and travel during summer vacation” program;
  • provision of services related to the field of tourism;
  • The organisation of exams for foreign language certificates;

“I-Innoturism” is a company founded by the university that specialises in accounting and auditing services. The company delivers services that match the most recent economic principles and trends in Uzbekistan. The company’s activities are but not limited to:

  • Diversification of the tourism business and assistance in launching the hotel business;
  • Assistance in the application of innovative and digital technologies in the tourism business;
  • Financial software and system management for hotels, tour operators, and other entities in the tourism sphere;
  • Assistance in creating innovative infrastructure for universities;
  • Training for employees working in the tourism sphere;
  • Tour operating;
  • Consulting services in accounting, marketing and management for all business entities in Uzbekistan and outsourcing qualified specialists;
  • Educating brokers in working with commodities exchange, online shops and auctions as well as performing broker activities 
  • Auditing services of all types;
  • Assistance in filling in the customs declaration, preparing declarations for import and exporting operations
  • Courses for university students to get certifications in accounting, statistics, tax advisory and international business

“BukhSU Scientific Biotechnology” is a company founded by the university which specializes in the application of biotechnologies in agriculture. The company provides innovative solutions to increase the productivity of the soil and facilitate the cultivation of nonregional vegetation. The company’s activities are but not limited to:

  • Assistance in the application of biotechnologies in agriculture
  • Pure water aquaculture;
  • Consulting services about the application of biotechnologies in agriculture;
  • Cultivation of higher aquatic plants and their use in fishery
  • The use of seaweed and higher aquatic plants in the purification of wastewater.
  • Research in the sphere of the application of biotechnology in agriculture
  • Research in aquaculture, zoology, ichthyology, hydrology;
  • Cultivation of feed for fishery;
